Statement of Principles:

The Inteleos I.D.E.A. Group will promote principles of Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility for Inteleos in each of its domains of activities: as an employer, as a certifying organization, and as a part a global system of individuals and organizations that promote health and provide medical services.

Inclusion

Inteleos will provide equal access to opportunities and resources for all, including people who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized. Inteleos will promote a work culture and environment that recognizes, appreciates, and effectively uses the talents, skills, and perspectives of all employees. Collaboration, flexibility, and fairness will be encouraged and expected.

Diversity

Inteleos will respect and appreciate the differences of individuals, including their unique perspectives, work experiences, lifestyles and cultures. The organization is a team with common goals, but the Inteleos mission will be best served by embracing the multifaceted aspects of diversity, including but not limited to national origin, language, race, color, disability, ethnicity, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic status, veteran status, and family structure.

Equity

Inteleos will strive for fairness and justice, recognizing the unique circumstances of individuals and the need to acknowledge and adjust for disparities in opportunities. Inteleos will work to identify and overcome intentional and unintentional barriers that exist due to bias or systemic impediments.

Accessibility

Inteleos will provide a workplace with facilities and standards that are usable by all employees and others, regardless of ability or disability. In addition, Inteleos will ensure that access to certification and other services of the organization will be accessible, regardless of physical ability or social circumstances. Inteleos products and services will be provided in ways that ensure equal access to opportunities to acquire information, engage in interactions, and to use services with equivalent ease.

The I.D.E.A. principles adopted and promoted by Inteleos will guide internal policies, procedures, actions, and corporate policies. These principles will be upheld in the external relationships of Inteleos, but Inteleos will acknowledge and respect the autonomy of individuals, guiding principles of other organizations, the free practice of religion, traditions of other cultures, and the legal authority of governments.
