The Inteleos’ Board of Directors and it’s management team are composed of a diverse mix of leaders with extensive experience in global healthcare, technology, business, education and finance. Our leadership teams and staff are dedicated to the advancement of global quality patient care, lifelong learning and to the latest technological advances in medicine and business.

Working together, with our esteemed ARDMS, APCA and Point-of-Care Ultrasound Academy Councils, as well as our Inteleos Foundation, we continue to strengthen and expand both the breadth and depth of our leadership teams. Luciana Young, MD, FAHA, FACC, FASE

Dr. Luciana Young leads the Echocardiography Laboratory at Seattle Children’s Hospital as its Director and serves as a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Washington. Her expertise in non-invasive imaging includes transthoracic, transesophageal, and fetal echocardiography, as well as a specialization in cardiac genetics. A dedicated advocate for excellence in cardiovascular ultrasound, Dr. Young has contributed extensively to research, education, and patient care initiatives. She has volunteered with ARDMS and Inteleos since 2006, championing high-quality healthcare for all patients.

Teresa Bieker, MBA, CRA, RDMS, RDCS, RVT

Teresa Bieker is the Manager of Radiology Quality at UCHealth, University of Colorado Hospital, where she leverages over 24 years of experience as a sonographer and manager in ultrasound. She focuses on enhancing radiology quality standards and streamlining processes to improve patient outcomes and quality of care. Teresa has been an active volunteer with ARDMS and Inteleos since 2003. She holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus in Healthcare from the University of Colorado.

Ian Necus 

Ian Necus brings over three decades of experience in technology, assessment, and education to his leadership roles. He has served as an executive consultant to CIOs at the USC Keck School of Medicine and Colibri Training, and drove innovation in assessment as the Chief Information Officer at PSI. 
Secretary

Trish Turner, BS, RDMS, RVT, FSDMS

Tricia Turner is the Assistant Director of Education and Director of the Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) Program at South Hills School of Business & Technology. With over two decades of experience in sonography education, she has contributed to various textbooks and taught a wide range of courses, including ergonomics, embryology, obstetrics, gynecology, abdomen, and vascular sonography. Tricia’s deep commitment to giving back drives her work with organizations like Inteleos, where she served as Chair of the ARDMS Council before joining the Inteleos Board of Directors in 2022. She also contributes to the SDMS community, and chaired the Annual Conference Management Committee from 2015 to 2021. 
 
Tricia earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Science from Pennsylvania State University in 1996 and graduated from the South Hills School’s Diagnostic Medical Sonography program in 1999. In her free time, she and her husband enjoy traveling to support their son’s hockey career.

Ernesto Brauer, MD, RDMS, RDCS, ASCeXAM, CCMeXAM, FACP, FCCP, D, ABSM

Dr. Ernesto Brauer is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He has been practicing since 1986, with a specialization in critical care and injured postoperative patients. 

His expertise spans airway management, ultrasound diagnostics, and postoperative care for the critically ill. 

A graduate of the National University of Mexico City, he also trained in internal medicine, pulmonary and critical medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee. Dr. Brauer holds board certifications across multiple specialties, including Pulmonary Care and Adult Echocardiography.

Carrie Hayes, MHS, PA-C, RDMS (AB,OB), RVT

Carrie Hayes is an Interventional Radiology Physician Associate with nearly a decade of experience specializing in image-guided procedures and vascular access. Her passion for patient care stretches across various areas of Interventional Radiology, including Interventional Oncology and Women’s Health. Recently named Inteleos’ POCUS Ambassador to the U.S., Carrie has also served as the Society of Interventional Radiology’s NP/PA Governing Council Chair. 
 
She began her career as a diagnostic medical sonographer before earning her PA certification from Duke University School of Medicine, and has since held positions at Stanford Health Care and within the Houston Medical Center. Carrie has lectured on ultrasound education across 30+ countries through RAD-AID International, and she currently develops innovative certification programs for physician associates. Her commitment to mentorship and global health initiatives remains central to her work.

Leah Jolly, MSAH, RVT, RPhS

Leah Jolly combines her passion for teaching with extensive clinical experience as Program Director and Assistant Professor for Oregon Tech’s Vascular Technology program.  
 
Previously a lead sonographer and Vascular Technologist at Mint Medical and Kaiser Permanente, she has volunteered with ARDMS since 2009.  
 
Outside the classroom, Leah chairs the ARDMS Council and continues to inspire future healthcare professionals through her mentorship. She enjoys keeping up with her husband and children, coaching Little League and volleyball teams, traveling, and savoring the outdoors from her home base in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Joshua Robinson, MD, FASE, FSCMR 

Dr. Joshua Robinson’s practice focuses on pediatrics: he serves as both an associate professor of Pediatrics and Radiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a pediatric cardiologist at Lurie Children’s Hospital.  
 
His interests include clinical-translational research, medical education, non-invasive cardiac imaging and cardiovascular service line development, all with an eye to improving health outcomes for children with cardiovascular disease. His research drives toward expanding the use of cardiac imaging in patients with pediatric and congenital heart disease in order to gain insights into mechanisms of disease progression, reduce the need for costly, invasive procedures and improve clinical outcomes.  
 
As a medical director and NIH-funded investigator, he holds significant experience in study design, clinical trial recruitment, database architecture, digital health strategy and clinical process improvement. As an academic section head, he is invested in graduate medical education, faculty mentorship, professional coaching and program development.

Raymond Russell, MD, PhD

Dr. Raymond Russell MD, PhD is a Professor of Medicine at Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School. He specializes in cardio-oncology and nuclear cardiology, specifically diagnosis of ischemic heart disease and infiltrative diseases of the heart.  
 
He is past-president of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Master of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He is the Chair of the Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement.  
 
Dr. Russell previously taught at Yale, and led programs in Nuclear Cardiology and Cardio-Oncology at Brown University alongside service as Program Director for its cardiology fellowship. He earned his MD and PhD from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, received his BA at Rice University, and completed his fellowship at the Yale School of Medicine.

Neil Sahota is a trailblazer in emerging technologies. CEO of ACSI Labs, an IBM Master Inventor, United Nations Advisor, and faculty member at UC Irvine, Neil brings deep experience as an active business solutions advisor and sought-after keynote speaker. Over his 20+ year career, he has guided enterprises in creating next-generation solutions powered by AI while fostering ecosystems for innovation.  
 
Neil actively supports organizations in creating the culture, community, and ecosystem needed to achieve success with the UN’s AI for Good initiative, alongside activism with social causes such as the Zero Abuse Project and Planet Home’s sustainability efforts.

Director

Vera Zlidar, MHS 

Vera Zlidar directs Global Business Development for US Pharmacopeia’s Global Health Programs, leveraging over 20 years of experience in strengthening both the quality of individual care and the growth of health systems worldwide.  
 
She previously led Deloitte Consulting’s Global Health practice and served as a USAID Global Health Fellow shaping maternal health investments across Asia. Her program design focused on maternal health, family planning/reproductive health, tuberculosis, urban health, and strengthening regional health systems. 
 
Vera is the first author of the first edition of the World Health Organization’s book, Family Planning: A Global Handbook for Providers. She earned her Master of Health Science in International Health and Population Policy from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Russian and East European Studies from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Dale serves as CEO and Executive Director of Inteleos, where he oversees ANSI-accredited certification programs impacting over 70 countries globally. With 17 years’ experience in certification leadership, he has pioneered initiatives that expand access to high-quality healthcare certifications worldwide.  
 
Dale shares his expertise in business and certification through lectures and workshops around the world, and presently sits on the Board of Directors for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Association of Talent Development (ATD) Credentialing Institute. He also co-holds a patent for a new type of test question and measurement. 
 
Dale earned his MBA in finance from the Albers School of Business and Economics, and also holds the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).

Kathy Kelly, MA, MS, MS

Kathy Kelly serves as the Chief Assessment Officer at Inteleos, where she leads the development and implementation of certification examinations for the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) and the Alliance for Physician Certification and Advancement (APCA). She also oversees the creation of educational and learning tools designed to support healthcare professionals in achieving career-long proficiency. 

A champion of personalized learning pathways, Kathy is dedicated to helping individuals assess their knowledge, enhance their skills, and pursue continuous professional growth and career-long proficiency. 

Kathy holds a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota, a Master of Science in Instructional Design from Syracuse University, and a Master of Science in Reading Education from SUNY Oswego.

Chief Experience Officer

Taryn Reed, MBA

Taryn Reed guides Inteleos as Chief Experience Officer, bringing over 23 years of expertise in marketing and customer experience (CX) to the community. With 16 years in senior leadership roles at global healthcare organizations, she has led the launch and evolution of CX initiatives that drive customer satisfaction on an international scale. 

Taryn holds a BA in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing from the University of West Georgia and an MBA in Business Administration from Brenau University. Her commitment to continuous learning is reflected in certifications from Forrester Research and Cornell University, including work in leadership, Business Case, and Customer Experience. 

Outside of work, Taryn is an avid water enthusiast who enjoys scuba diving, boating, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Based in Hilton Head Island, SC, she shares her love for the ocean with her family and two dogs while cheering for the Atlanta Braves and Falcons.

Wendy Reeling, CPA

Wendy Reeling is the Chief Financial Officer at Inteleos, where she leads strategic financial management, oversees operations, and collaborates with the executive team to drive sustainable growth in global healthcare. With over 20 years of experience in finance and operations, Wendy has a proven track record of guiding organizations through periods of rapid expansion and operational transformation. 

Before joining Inteleos, Wendy served as CFO at Apex Physics Partners, LLC, where she grew company revenue from $28M to $40M by spearheading strategic acquisitions and implementing lean management practices. She also led technology enhancements that improved efficiency and scaled operations. 

Wendy holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Catholic University of America and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Maryland. An active member of AICPA, MACPA, and CGMA, Wendy is also an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys playing golf and tennis in her free time.  

Chief Business Development Officer

Pamela Ruiz, CAE

Pamela Ruiz drives international healthcare initiatives as Chief Business Development Officer at Inteleos, and leads the organizational mission to improve maternal health outcomes and economic agency, particularly in East and South Africa.  

With extensive global experience in strategy, business development, and international expansion, She focuses on creating sustainable ecosystems that promote equity, access, and agency in underserved regions. Her collaborative approach connects key stakeholders, agencies, and teams to tackle ambitious projects in emerging markets.  

Pamela holds a degree in Art History from James Madison University, a graduate certificate in Organizational Development from Penn State University, and the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential from the American Society of Association Executives. She resides in the Washington, D.C., metro area with her husband and three sons.

Juan Sanchez

Juan Sanchez is the Chief Information Officer at Inteleos, bringing 25 years of technology experience and over a decade of leadership in strategic IT management to the team. Focused on driving organizational growth through innovative product thinking, Juan emphasizes the importance of empowering teams to deliver groundbreaking solutions. His leadership philosophy centers on fostering a culture of trust, adaptability, and collaboration, enabling teams to thrive and achieve meaningful results. 

An advocate for OKRs, agile, systems thinking, and adaptive organizational design, Juan has successfully transformed organizations and coached high-performance teams. His expertise has been featured in publications such as CIO.com and Healthcare Digital, and he has shared insights on podcasts including ASAE’s Association Tech Insider and AI for Good. 

As a sought-after speaker, Juan has presented at major conferences like ASAE’s Annual Conference. His OKR presentations have been featured at international events like Quantive’s OKR Champions Roundtable, the 2024 Computer Futures OKR Forum, and the OKR Quickstart Executive Workout, where he inspires audiences to embrace change and unlock their full potential.

Bringing over 20 years of experience across healthcare, tech startups, non-profits, and residential industries, she is passionate about building high-performing teams and transforming organizations through the power of people.  

Tamara holds an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus and certifications from the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
