Partner with Us in this Grand Challenge to Build a Scalable Model to Advance Global Healthcare:

Our Grand Challenge will combine education and training with validated proficiency measures, allowing healthcare providers to obtain certification for their ability to utilize ultrasound equipment to make meaningful diagnoses.

For this initial program of the Ultrasound Proficiency Grand Challenge, Inteleos has partnered with RAD-AID, a non-profit global health charitable organization, to develop a comprehensive midwife/skilled birth attendant ultrasound proficiency program. Initially, this program will target midwives and skilled birth attendants (obstetric physicians, physician assistants, nurses, etc.) in low resource communities, in the US, Caribbean, and Africa. This initiative will pilot a model of delivering an integrated education, training, and validated assessment program for certification.

From this experience, we will develop a model that can scale globally and deliver these resources to midwives and skilled birth attendants around the world so they can use ultrasound technology to provide needed healthcare to more than half of the world’s population.
